What basically drives you to buying a new watch? may be you need something good looking or may be one of that your most loved cloths is what you needed a match to in terms of color. OK!, what ever is your decision of buying a time piece, what mattered is how extent is this time piece going to see you through for you to enjoy what you bought with your money.

Here is little tips on how to take proper care of your watchs:

If your watch has a quick set feature, do NOT use it for setting the time between the hours of 8:00 pm and 4:00 am, for this will severely damage your watch one time.

Always remove your watch, if you needed to wind it or set the proper time. Don't set your watch while you are wearing it on your hands for it will twist and damage the rewinding engine.

If you are the sports loving type, do not wear an automatic or manual wind timepieces the impact of these activities can jar the movement.

Always a good idea to remove your watch while bathing or washing dishes. The hot water and soap can permeate the gasket and weaken it, causing water to enter the watch case.

Always rinse your watch off after swimming to remove chlorine and salt water. And remember never wear a watch with a leather band in water, whether swimming, bathing, washing dishes, or any other water activity. Very few leather bands can stand up to moisture.

Lastly; make sure to separate your watch from other jewelries to avoid rust by contamination, so en devour to provide watch casing for your watch for, this will make your watch last for you thereby saving you a lot of money you could have been wasting buying so many watches within a shot period of time.
